Pushpa 2: The Rule, has been breaking records ever since its release on December 5. Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna starrer joined the likes of Prabhas' Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Aamir Khan's Dangal on its fourth Sunday, December 29. The film entered the Rs 1700 crore club at the worldwide box office on day 25 of its release. 

The commercial entertainer collected Rs 11.07 crore on day 23, Rs 15.33 crore on day 24, and Rs 18.95 crore on day 25. Pushpa 2's total worldwide box office collection stands at Rs 1709.63 crore. With this, it has become the ''3rd film to achieve this prestigious milestone after Dangal and Baahubali 2'', as per trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan.

Pushpa 2 raked in Rs 282.91 crore on its opening day and Rs 781.33 crore on its first weekend at the worldwide box office. In its first week, the film's total worldwide collections was Rs 1032 crore, Rs 1479.06 crore in its second week, and Rs 1664.38 crore in its third week.

Talking about Pushpa 2's box office collections in India, the Sukumar directorial earned Rs 725.8 crore in its first week, Rs 264.8 crore in its second week, and Rs 129.5 crore in its third week. It collected Rs 8.75 crore on its fourth Friday, Rs 12.5 crore on its fourth Saturday, and around Rs 16 crore on its fourth Sunday.The total box office collections in India is Rs 1157.35 crore.

Starting the tournament as clear favourites, Paris Olympics bronze-medallists India haven't disappointed so far, beating hosts China 3-0, Japan 5-1, trouncing Malaysia 8-1 before registering a 3-1 victory against Korea in their last match.

These two teams are meeting for the first time in the tournament in pool stage.

Pushpa 2's Hindi version is performing better than other versions as it made Rs 753.9 crore in Hindi language, while Telugu version raked in Rs 324.99 crore. Pushpa 2's Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions earned Rs 56.75 crore, Rs 14.11 crore, and Rs 7.6 crore, respectively.

The sequel to 2021 blockbuster Pushpa 2: The Rise, the second instalment also stars Fahadh Faasilhawkplay, Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rao Ramesh, and Sunil, in significant roles.
